Politics: East vs West, Communism vs Capitalism, or people vs people?

Tell me, do you know, or have you ever had a chance to meet, someone from a country, which is your home country’s enemy? I have, I lived in what was called West Germany, before, during and after the end of the “Cold War” and I must say, that the people I knew, were not only nice people! They were better than nice! I was in the U.S. Army, in Germany, in a Pershing Missile unit, before, during and after P2. Anyone that was around then would know what that means. No, I had nothing to do with the nukes, I was in communications, a “telephone” man.During this time, we were all afraid of the “Russians”, but why? History, I guess. Maybe the over-all fear, and beliefs of the time. Quite probably it was was the actual track record? What is my point? Every group of people on this planet, have done certain things, most of which, seen as wrong by others. I use the old Russia vs America (USA) as an example, because I have personal experience with that, maybe others have more “current” stories to tell. When you look at the past, it will tell you about the future, if, and I repeat if, the world hasn’t changed, and I mean drastically! Yes, the old Soviet Union is gone, but, Russia still exists, why is that important? Again, history, as during the Clinton presidency, when we were pacified by the “Muslim Extremists” and they built up to the point where they attacked us in New York on September eleventh, Russia has pacified us, the USA, to where we don’t watch them as much. Again, what is my point? Keep reading! Does anybody really remember Vietnam, or Korea? Maybe WWII? Trust me history repeats itself! While we are fighting these extremists, who happen to be using Russian and Chinese weapons, among others, we are pacified, while they build up! Have you seen the reports of Russian Military over-flies of restricted areas? Ok, one doesn’t have to be a mathematician to add 2 plus 2! If you understand what “Communism” is all about!

Communism:

A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members.Communism A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people. The Marxist-Leninist version of Communist doctrine that advocates the overthrow of capitalism by the revolution of the proletariat.

Where am I headed with this? Anyone who is familiar with War, knows what attrition means:

A rubbing away or wearing down by friction.A gradual diminution in number or strength because of constant stress. A gradual, natural reduction in membership or personnel, as through retirement, resignation, or death.

So, who can tell me what has been happening in Iraq? Or, in “The War on Terror” in general? Personally, I believe that since the American people have gotten so….oblivious, to what is happening, our own government seems, and I repeat, seems, to be hiding something from us, they protect us from ourselves! Anybody that thinks all of the billions being spent have anything to do with oil, are just as stupid as the ones who think it is one people, against another! Remember where this article started? Do you know, or have you ever had a chance to meet, someone from a country, which is your home country’s enemy? I have use a photo that I found of Moskow, a really beatiful place, but what makes it so? No, not just the buildings, the people! This is the point of my story, if you get to know the people, from anywhere, you will find that there are so many things to agree with, you will forget what your governments disagree about! This is the downside, since not all people from all countries actually agree with the same political issues, our governments are all different! We may all want to be free, but not all have actually been free, so, they just don’t understand! They don’t know what freedom is! Some think that the government should pay their way, these are Socialists, or even Communists, some think that the government actually gets in the way, these are Capitalists. Should you have any questions, follow these links, do some research and learn what America is all about! No American just wants to take over any country, I can assure you of that, the most aggressive, just wants to protect what he/she has, what he/she understands and believes to be the most free! If you want something for nothing, America is the wrong place, try France, or Germany, and see how far you get giving nothing! If you are willing to study, work hard, and give, everything, to protect everybody, and our way of life, America is the right place! However, if you think the Government should control your every breath and provide you with everything, try Russia, Cuba, or Venezuela!
