Barack Obama: “I can no more disown him, than I can the Black Community” This tells us more than his words! You do not join a football team, if you do not like football!

      By CarpetGuy | March 18, 2008

obama1 Barack Obama: I can no more disown him, than I can the Black Community This tells us more than his words! You do not join a football team, if you do not like football!I just really can’t believe I heard what I heard! Barack Obama talked, but he didn’t say anything! All he did was try to glamorize the hatred that his church and according to him, that the black community feels! “I can no more disown him, than I can the Black Community”, that is the quote that stands out, this is the quote that bothers me. His speech today was as his speeches always are, very eloquent, yet empty. I think that a post HotAir.com puts it best:

It’s essentially a non-distancing distancing, akin to the non-apology apology. He excuses Wright’s anti-American rhetoric with a mixture of rationalizations

Finally, Barack Obama sounds like a true politician! My feelings are this, I could never believe that ALL people in the black community, nationwide, could agree with the hatred espoused by that church! Again, read this post on Sweetness-Light.com with this in mind, do you honestly believe that “The Media” is picking on Reverend Wright for a few “out of context” remarks?

Ok, by these standards, Hitler was a Superhero! He took Germany to a higher level, put tons of people to work and saved his country, does that negate all of the evil he did? Hell No! By the same standard, we need to view the things that Reverend Wright has done, yes, his church may have done some wonderful things, just as Hitler did, but, it is the doctrine of that church, along with Wright’s words, that tell the true story! It is their words, not that of me, the media, or anyone else!

The media, including Fox News and the talk radio people actually get a pass on this one, because it is what that church is based on!

Now, they want to honor this man, Reverend Wright? This is scary, maybe it is a more widespread issue than I believe, check out this post on MichelleMalkin.com

klansman1 Barack Obama: I can no more disown him, than I can the Black Community This tells us more than his words! You do not join a football team, if you do not like football! Those words, “The U.S. of KKK A” really bother me! Does the KKK even still exist? I imagine so, but they are a very tiny group of people, and I could never believe that anyone would believe that they represent our country! That is purely hatred, in its very nature!

No, I have never been called the “N” word, a word I as a white person can’t even use! Yet this reverend Wright can in a speech talking about Hillary!

What is wrong with this man? Why is it that Obama just wants to “sugar-coat” his words? To say that they are taken out of context is ridiculous! If I use the “N” word, even if I was praising someone, not mocking them, no matter what the context, I would be a marked man, look at Don Imus, he was just cracking a joke! Yes, it was a distasteful joke, done very poorly, but, look at what happened to him, he didn’t even use the “N” word, why is it ok to hate white people and America so much, yet a white person can’t even use a word? My favorite comedian of all time was Richard Pryor, he got famous by using the “N” word, but, when I listen to him, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, and many others, I don’t pay attention to the “N” word, I listen to the jokes! I am sorry, but these guys are funny!

So, back to the topic, did Obama put everything behind him now? I don’t think so, I didn’t like his policies before, now I don’t like him! I have lost any respect that I may have had for him! He should have blasted Reverend Wright, he should have made it clear that he doesn’t believe in the doctrine of his own church, yet that would have made him out as a liar, you don’t join a football team, if you don’t like football, joining a church is even more important, you would know what that church stood for, if you don’t agree, you don’t attend that church!

Reverend Wright is now just one more reason that I don’t like preachers, white black or otherwise.Barack Obama has blown it, there is no reason for him to not be judged by his own words, “I can no more disown him, than I can the Black Community”, and it has nothing to do with race, it is the hatred! He may say he is above all of that, but, if he believes that ALL people in the black community feel the same way, he will divide this country like never before! Not just down the party lines, but racial ones as well!

God Bless America, but watch out for Barack Obama!

Isn’t it the same with all politicians. They talk a lot but don’t really say anything.
