Have you heard about Intense Debate yet?

I just happened to find out about this one by accident, IntenseDebate looks like a really good thing for everyone in what looks like every online community! I do find it kind of funny, that WordPress hasn’t sent out some sort of bulletin or something, especially since IntenseDebate is from Automattic, the makers of WordPress.
Just in case you are wondering what it is, follow the above links to learn more or to get set up. One thing I can tell you is that this site, and soon all of my other sites, will be connected to IntenseDebate, and from what I can tell, it is similar to the WordPress.com dashboard for all of your WordPress.org sites, except, you can connect everything there, from MySpace and FaceBook, to Twitter and MyBlogLog among many others, and edit your comments from one place!
It looks like this plugin has done something that I haven’t gotten around to yet, updating my theme for the threaded comments, hey, for once, by doing nothing, I did the right thing!
For some reason, this site doesn’t get that many comments, I am hoping that IntenseDebate will fix that! So, now, you have to sign up with IntenseDebate to post a comment here. I feel like I have been living under a rock, why hadn’t I ever heard about this before? Anyway, I am new to IntenseDebate too, so, if you are just getting involved, as I am, you are not alone! If you want to post a comment here, please do, I am excited to see this work!

Well, just so that you know, I have had to uninstall IntenseDebate, that plugin was causing conflicts with other plugins, it just would not play nice, so, it had to go.

You may have noticed that I had the IntenseDebate plugin deactivated, it was causing errors on the site, but, hopefully that problem has been solved, please let me know if you encounter any problems, thanks.

I saw it too on the912project.com and I didn't have a clue what it was.
Thanks for your article on it. I found you on Twitter. Now I know.

I would avoid IntenseDebate. I installed it on my blog and have had nothing but problems and have found their support department to be anything but supportive. Currently, no one can leave comments on my blog and I have lost comments from previous posts. All I want to do is "disconnect" IntenseDebate from my blog, but I can't get Michael Koenig or any of his friends to help me with that. Bottom line? Faulty software. Faulty business model.
