Ignorance is bliss!

Just a day or two ago, I saw on Hannity, (Fox News), he had a panel of Democrats from New Jersey, the show was very interesting, and as usual, allowed the views from the “left” to be shared. I have to admit, I spend almost all of my day, and night, watching the news, and a limited few other programs, and reading books, but my world, my life, is basically here, on the Internet, so, I am able to keep up with what is actually going on in the world, and do not base my opinions on second or third hand information. This said, I am not judging anyone, I am just letting you know where I am coming from.

During this show, Hannity asked one guy if he liked paying taxes, and broke it down as to the facts about his state and local taxes making it that he paid more to live in a state that is in debt and has high unemployment. This guy, said he has to pay more in taxes to pay for states that don’t have state tax! Obviously, this poor uninformed man did not have a clue! State taxes go to that state, it is the federal taxes that go into the government fund and are supposed to be used to take care of the things that the Federal government is supposed to take care of, like our military, but, not the things the state is supposed to take care of like roads in that state.

You could summarize the definition of the word, “ignorance”, as, “not knowing”, thus, this man was ignorant to the facts. The type of government you have, the wasteful spending, the entitlements, the unions, and so on are what determine how much money a state needs and where they get this money. I live in the great state of Texas, we have no local or state taxes, and also have a balanced budget, unemployement is still lower than most states, and, the low taxes is at least part of the reason! Texas is a big place, has tons of roads, and no, they are not all perfect, I doubt any state is, but, we are doing pretty good. So, why do these “liberal” states have so many taxes? Ignorance! Yes, the people there, obviously, “don’t know”, that they too can have lower taxes, if, the adopt more conservative ways and move away from the fanatical fantasy of the “nanny state” that takes care of everything!

I met a guy from “up north” who was looking for a job, and couldn’t understand why here in Texas he got laughed at when looking for a job. The guy went on to explain that he just wanted to get paid about what he did “back home”, which was about $25 an hour, for a “helper” position. I couldn’t help but laugh when he said that he had been told, “we could hire three guys for that amount”, because I knew it was true. What this guy was so ignorant of, were the facts, that $25 an hour, put him in a higher tax bracket,  with the added local and state taxes, and the “Union Dues” he brought home less than the guy that got $8 an hour here! This means that three people have a job, spend money and keep the economy going. The cost of living is less here too because the business you buy your food or whatever from doesn’t have to pay those extra taxes to the city, state or union! You do the math, are you ignorant?

How did America get so Politically Correct?

Can anyone tell me, exactly when did this whole political correctness mess get started? Who started it? Why was it even considered, much less enforced? I am going to guess here, but I have a feeling it got started in the seventies, just after the “civil rights” era, during that time that everyone was feeling guilty. Now, don’t get me wrong, the white man was guilty of a lot of things back then, hey, you should have heard the way people used to speak back then, I was 8 years old in 1970, I heard it.  I didn’t understand that the use of certain, now forbidden, words, could possibly be a bad thing, after all, I also grew up hearing “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me”, so, somehow, I missed the whole thing!

Since this ‘politically correct’ movement took hold, things have changed! I can see where it is not nice to use certain words, but, I grew up being taught that it was the feeling behind the words that was wrong, not the words themselves, after all, sticks and stones…. Anyway, do you get my point?

Today, almost 40 years later, things have really changed! Now, it is alright for any race to use “white” in a duragatory manner, when referring to race, but it is not alright for a white guy to use any term that can be construed to be “hate” speach when referring to race, and God forbid, if you are a hetero-sexual white guy, you just cannot say anything at all about anything or you get called a bigot!  By the way, when have you ever heard that word to describe anyone, other than a white guy? here is what the dictionary says;

One who is strongly partial to one’s own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

Based on this definition of bigot, I have to admit, I am one! Yes, and my group is, “human beings”, yeah, aliens (yeah, like non-humans, from another planet!) suck! You know, they are green, purple or some other color, have tenticles, they dress funny and they smell bad! (based on movies like men in Black) Can you see where I am headed?

How many generations will go by, before it is no longer politically correct to say what I have just written? Surely, some alien is going to show up and be offended!  If I say, “you stupid, green, smelly son of a female dog”, referring to a ‘non-human’ alien, there is no one here to take offense, and I am sure that unless they conquer us, thus proving real hate, there will be many that say even worse, think about this, and should this ever happen, how long before the PC police ban the use of the word alien altogether? Will we humans, be subjected to a one way restriction on “hate” speech, like us hetero white guys are now? Have you noticed, I am having to qualify the word alien with ‘non-human’, when I use this word? How far will the PC police go?

Here we are in 2009 and I am writing this, if such a concept could have ever even been imaginable, what would the people a few hundred years ago have written? I know that my father’s generation never saw it coming!

Here is where my whole point comes out, are you familiar with Perez Hilton? You know, that gay (no, not happy) guy, that called Miss California several not nice words, I guess I should say ex-Miss California. Funny, this guy, or gal, or whatever it is, somehow was put on a panel to judge a beauty contest, how would he, she, or it, even know what a beautiful woman was supposed to be like anyway? (I could have made this a lot shorter with just one little F word, couldnt I?)  Anyway, did you hear what happened? He, she. it. or whatever, called a dude from The Black eyed Peas a fag and got his ass kicked, or at least he, she, it says he. she, it, did.  I don’t know what started it, but I know this, if that Perez Hilton would have gotten into it with some people, he would have at least had a mark or two on his face while he cried on that video like a little girl that just had her pony tail yanked by a mean little boy in school! Maybe it was karma? I guess it was a really good thing he didn’t call him a white guy!

Personally, I agree with the ex-Miss California!

Somehow, I feel this Political Correctness crap has just gotten out of hand!

Is anyone else getting this? Obama, Chavez, Ahmadinijad, whats next?

I know that I saw this coming a long time ago, how did Obama get elected anyway? Read this article from February, I have that bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, kind of like that feeling you get when you know that you made a mistake, only, this was not my mistake!

Notice the hand shake, does that look like a “professional” hand shake? No, that is more of a “hey buddy, whats up?” handshake! There is more to even than that, I may be mistaken, but it looks to me like Obama is pulling Chavez’s hand in toward him, that is what you do when you shake the hand of an old friend, someone that you know well, have maybe not seen for a while, you know what I mean, it is a form of “manly” affection, letting the other know that you care, that is NOT how you shake the hand of a dictator! Unless, maybe you are an aspiring dictator yourself? Follow the link above and see what I said then.

Take a look at the guy in the middle between them, is that an evil snicker or what? To me, it seems like the three of them are more familiar with each other than the world knows.

Just take a look at the second photo, notice the same grin on Chavez’s face? I guess in public Obama can only shake Chavez’s hand, I wonder how long it will be before the three of them start hugging?

Personally, this whole thing scares the beans out of me. Why? Because over half of our wonderful country has been deceived, tricked into believing in this man, Obama, just like those poor people in Venezuela, funny thing is, they still don’t know they have been taken over!

This whole thing does not paint a pretty picture, I just hope that those that voted for this guy wake up from the trance soon! I hope that a real candidate, one that we all can believe in, one that will not be more of the same ole same ole, one that will live by the U.S. Constitution and defend it! I don’t care if it is a Republican or an Independent, all I care about is taking our country back and fixing the mess that Washington has created over the last few decades!

Gun Control: What separates reality from fantasy and paranoia?

Gun control, a big issue, but, what separates reality from fantasy and paranoia? The shooting in Pittsburgh is but one of the first, I fear, that will have at least some basis in the belief that President Obama and his regime, will somehow find a way to circumvent the U.S. Constitution, and take our guns away. This is the paranoia.

Don’t get me wrong, what the guy in Pittsburgh did was wrong, how it got started, his mental stability, his job loss, and so on. all play a part in this, but, what does it prove?

Americans have very little confidence in the government, and fear that the Constitution is in jeapardy. This is a huge problem, and could trigger more of the “less stable” to snap!  President Obama and his henchmen, will, if they get a chance, limit our rights to “Keep and bear arms”, we all know it, but, it is these type of events that give them the “ammo” (pardon the pun), to get the population behind such an idea!  This is where the fantasy comes in, it is that the very group that wants to keep guns, doing stupid things, that the “other” side believes is reality, this guy has provided fuel for their fantasies of getting rid of guns! The fantasy, of the perfect Utopia with no guns.

My heart goes out to the families and friends of anyone harmed in what this guy did.  Maybe we can all learn from this? The state of our society is in panic, because so many of us believe that the very fabric of our founding, is going to be unraveled, one line of the Constitution at a time, do we need to start shooting at each other? NO!

What we need is to stand up, and speak out, get others like us involved in expressing that “We the People” want to keep our Constitution, and maybe, just maybe, some that are teetering on the edge of sanity, will not be able to use that fear as an excuse! People come in all shapes, and flavors, but we have one thing in common, we are all Americans, and we need to act like it! People get sick, people go crazy, we all have problems, but, we can not blame one mans problem on all other mens freedoms! (or womens)

Iran’s Ahmadinejad: How long will the world put up with him?

Everytime you turn around this guy is giving the world the finger, how long will this be allowed to last? He has stated so many times, everyone should have heard it by now, that he wants to get rid of Isreal, come on world, wake up!

Here is an article on the most recent outburst, found on FoxNews.com, Iran’s Ahmadinejad: ‘Not Feasible’ for Israel to Exist, does any one out there even care?

I am sorry if I get out of line on this one, but this Ahmadinijad guy is just plain evil! I can envision even more from him since he no longer has any reason to fear the U.S., after all, Obama is going to go hang out with him at some point, right? So, what kind of message are we sending the world? As I see it, Obama getting elected says: “We Surrender!” Now that Obama and Palosi, have guaranteed us to be broke for another century or two, what can we do?

Simple, here is my plan; First, we call up Isreal, tell them hey, you might want to get everybody out, you can have a chunk of Arizona, down by the border, that way they can handle security there. Second, we fire off a few dozen of our ICBM’s and make the middle east glow! Hmm, now I sound as bad as Ahmad the Nutjob, but I can’t think of any other way, and after all, the nukes are paid for! As bad as that sounds, you sometimes have to get extreme when the consequences of doing nothing are even more extreme! You know, “Fight fire with fire!”

Actually, I don’t think we have to worry about doing anything, Isreal knows how Obama feels about them, so I imagine they will take care of it themselves!

Ron Paul – What is all the fuss? Who is this guy?

The way I see it, as opinionated as I am, I need to keep a “No Bias” attitude if I want to get readers to participate here, and not just alienate one group or another. But! When it comes to this guy, Ron Paul, I am not sure I can.

I have watched the debates, I have heard, and read all kinds of Anti-Ron Paul stuff, like this site, AntiRonPaul.com, but what I don’t understand is, why is there so much noise about a guy that really doesn’t matter?

There are like a gazillion things to be found about Ron Paul on the web, just do a Google search and you’ll see what I mean.

I am sorry, there is just something about the guy that makes my skin crawl!

This is my opinion, from all of the things that I have heard him say, in the debates or other interviews, he sorta reminds me of a Nazi Wannabe. I believe that if he had his way, he would seal us off from the rest of the world with a reminiscent attitude of “America for the Americans” this is basically what Hitler said in his speaches, “Deutchland fur den Deutchen” except he was referring to Germany. It is as if he wants to build a big wall around the country and pretend there is no one else on the planet.

I have found so many things on this guy, I don’t know what to believe, or who, I just know that his stance on the war is rediculous! If you want to see some of what his supporters (zombies) say, go to dailypaul.com, I just wonder how he has so many people following him? What kind of magic spell did he cast? I will say this, I could never support the guy, but his followers are the hardest workers there are, and the most dedicated. Have you ever noticed the polls after the debates? You know, where they text in their vote, he wins every time! All the while, the other candidates, and the interviewers, are trying to keep from laughing at him. I have to admit, I am laughing too!

Afghan Student Sentenced to Death for Downloading Paper Against Islam

Did I read that right? Isn’t Afghanistan one of the good guys now? The only thing this guy did, was download and print a paper from the Internet that humiliated Islam? It seems to me that these actions by the court do more to humiliate Islam that any paper could, no matter what it said! Here is another twist, it was written by an Iraqi!

“We completely condemn this trial,” Samandar said. “It goes against the freedom of speech and the freedom of the press.”

Well, I sure hope they get this straight, doesn’t make them look too free if you ask me!

Bye bye Fred, OK, now what?

Not all that long ago, Fred Thompson was the Republican’s big star, the buzz was everywhere that he was going to get the party going again, I guess not.

I remember back when it was just a rumor that he would run, most of the other candidates were already out working, but no, not Fred, he waited, wanted to be sure I guess, before he hit the campaign trail, then what do you know? ITS OVER! This guy was a joke! Had he been applying for a job, he never would have had a second interview, he wouldn’t have shown up!

Maybe he did it for a tax write-off? What else could he have gotten out of this? Oh, maybe a VP job? Personally, I hope not, if he can’t show up to work for his own campain, what would he add to the ticket as a VP candidate?

In my opinion, I say “I am glad he’s gone” once we get it all thinned out, to the final two, one left and one right, maybe the issues will be discussed? As of now, it is who has the most money, who believes in what religion, who is really who? Get on with it!

If I hear Billary talk about health care one more time I’ll scream! Somebody come up with a new issue to discuss! Between her and Osama Barak, or whatever his name is, there is little more than a couple of spoiled kids arguing at a playground!

Depending on where you sit, it could be a good thing that the two Dumbocrats are showing the world that they can”t even get along as Democrats, how will they do anything in office? It is kind of funny, it is usually the republicans that they toss lies about, now it is each other!
