Dear David,
Vice President Joe Biden said during the 2008 campaign that it is patriotic for Americans to pay more in taxes. Since taking over control of Washington, the Obama Democrats have decided we should all be more “patriotic” having passed or proposed more than $5 trillion in new spending and $1.4 trillion in new taxes.
I don’t know about you, David, but I don’t believe there is anything patriotic about giving more of your hard-earned money to the government to bankroll the liberal Democrats’ agenda to increase spending to record levels, change the tax code to redistribute the wealth of working families, and destroy the savings of millions of middle-class Americans.
So on this Tax Day, April 15, the Republican National Committee is asking you, along with hundreds of thousands of grassroots activists across our country, to assert a real patriotic act by sending a virtual tea bag to Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the tax, spend and borrow Democrats. Let them know enough is enough and you don’t approve of their plan to pass the largest tax hike in American history.
And when you send your virtual tea bag today, I hope you will also take this opportunity to make a secure online contribution of $25, $50, $100, $500 or $1,000 to the RNC today to help fund our efforts to resist the massive tax and spending increases Barack Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Democrats are attempting to ram through Congress.
The $1.4 trillion in higher taxes is just the tip of the iceberg for the Democrats. The proposed cap and trade program on carbon emissions Obama wants would impose at least $646 billion in new energy taxes — $3,100 for every American family a year. And the President wants to raise taxes on small businesses — the very engine that provides 75% of our economic growth.
David, Americans will pay more in taxes this year than they will spend on food, clothing and housing combined and it is still not enough for Barack Obama and the liberal Democrats. Let them know you already pay enough in taxes by sending them a virtual tea bag by clicking here.
And when you do, please also make a secure online contribution of $25, $50, $100, $500 or $1,000 to the RNC today to fight the Democrats’ efforts to take advantage of America’s present economic difficulties to force through their reckless agenda.
Your participation in this project is vital to holding the Obama Democrats accountable for their destructive higher tax and spending policies. Please send your virtual tea bag today. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Michael Steele
Chairman, Republican National Committee

Dear David, When running to become your new Republican National Committee Chairman, I campaigned on a need for responsible change for our Party.
Not a change of our core values, but real change of how we go about listening to our supporters, how we communicate our message to all Americans and how we organize and win elections. While I’m excited about the challenges and opportunities we face, I have no illusions. I am fully aware of the hard work ahead and obstacles we must overcome to start winning elections again. But this isn’t about me — I can’t do this alone. It’s about you and every Republican grassroots leader who believes in our conservative principles of limited government, economic growth, personal responsibility and a strong national defense. And it’s about empowering you to lead and giving you the tools to help our Party set a new direction for our country. Successful campaigns cannot be run from a building in Washington. The strength of our Party comes from people like you who believe in our values and ideals and promote them in their communities. As one of my first official acts as Chairman, I’ve commissioned a survey of Republican activists in EVERY state. I want to hear from each of you to understand your thoughts and opinions about our Party and how we can once again be the party of ideas. That’s why I’m asking you to do two very important things for me: 1) Please take a moment right now to fill out online the State of the Republican Party Survey for the RNC. I want you to be honest and candid in your answers — there’s no need to sugar-coat your responses after our Party’s performances in the last two elections. If you choose not to participate in this crucial project, the RNC cannot create a campaign plan to educate and mobilize the millions of Republicans we need to resist the liberal agenda Barack Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Democrats are attempting to ram through Congress. Your guidance will also help us develop new strategies for winning the two Governor’s races held this year. The elections in New Jersey and Virginia offer Republicans a chance to demonstrate that we got your message and will help us seize the momentum. But we cannot lay the groundwork for winning this year and next without your participation in this survey and your active involvement in the RNC. So please complete your State of the Republican Party Survey online today and support the RNC’s efforts to grow our Party by making a secure contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50, or $25. David, our Party cannot do this without you. Please take this survey today. So our tax dollars are going to pay AIG executives millions in bonuses! Just another day of good news from Washington. Meanwhile, don’t look now, but Nancy Pelosi and the Obama Administration is busily working to build up a debt larger than our country or any country has ever seen. But back to the bonuses. It was a mystery all week how this happened. No one could seem to figure it out. But then…it leaked out that Democrat Senator Chris Dodd snuck a provision into the massive spending bill that allowed the bonuses to happen. Dodd denied it at first, then changed his story and now admits that he did it, but says he did it at the request of “Administration staffers”. Finally, the Democrats have been forced to admit that they allowed the AIG bonuses to happen. This has got to stop. Please take a minute and click on the link below to watch the RNC’s new video exposing the Democrats’ latest shell game. Send this to your friends. Ask everyone to email and call their congressmen — contact them through our Action Center. Ask people to volunteer to help their local and state Republican Parties. Make your voice heard!

What is up with all of this racial crap?

I am sorry, maybe I missed something somewhere, I thought that since Obama got elected, we didn’t have to hear all of the “racial” crap anymore! Obviously not, watch this video and see what you think. I am just getting so tired of hearing that Barack Obama is a black man, shut up with it already, his problem is not being black, it is being a piss poor president! I don’t care if he is blue, green, or tootie fruitie, he is putting us in debt for generations, that is the problem!
What Michael Steele is facing in this video is just so wrong! It is supposed to be an interview about how Steele has reached out to Obama, but Obama is not reaching back! What happened to all of tha bi-partisen crap Obama used to shovel out at every chance he had? If I could snap my fingers and have them trade places I would, Steele is a “real” conservative, at least he always sounded that way to me. Anyway, just watch the video and see what you think!
