Sarah Palin Steps Aside- Good or Bad Idea?

Sarah Palin has stepped aside as Governor of Alaska and the political feathers are flying! If you are listening to the news, you are sure to have heard all sorts of bad things, that she is comitting political suicide and so on, but I don’t think so. I would be willing to bet that Sarah Palin shows up at a tea party somewhere tomorrow. I believe that her decision is to seperate herself from the Republican party, in order to establish herself as a true Independant, as a true believer in the fact that our current and previous leaders have made a big mess and she wants to fix it! Hey, she fixed Alaska in half a term as Governor, what could be wrong with that? I will be waiting to hear more, I take this as good news!
Sarah Palin is going to travel the country and get herself known, and also learn about the country from the inside out actually being with the people, and not the party! Look out Republicans and Democrats, the new force of the people of America is on her way!

I am sorry, if you are an Obamaphreak, this will make you mad!
While this guy has been asleep. or whatever, and I have been sitting here, watching the news, waiting for his reply. his briefing to us, the people, and this is it! Come on! The very “soft Spoken” method, confuses no one! The teleprompter speaks again, this time without its mouthpiece! Sorry, but my alarm-clock says more!
This is probably the only time that I will ever, in my lifetime, if I live to be 500, write to the President, ,,,, Mr President,….. please,,,,, have the energy,,,, have the heart, ,,,have the whatever it takes, ,,to stay up,,,,, all night with those of us that are watching that is, if you are worried, not about us, but the country, as we are,… is this more important to us,…. than it is to you? .. We do not sleep, we wait for you, for you to tell us that it is ok, when we do not hear from you, well, you get the point! We could care Less about Europe, We are AMERICANS and we want you, to LEAD AMERICA, excuse my french but **** them! America is number one, or, it is Not yours to lead! When you worry more about the EU than us, guess where your problems lie? Math is simple, if you let it be!
I thank the BNO Newsroom for being the only source at this time of day, it gives me something to do!
From the BNO Newsroom.
Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC (BNO NEWS) – “North Korea’s development and proliferation of ballistic missile technology pose a threat to the northeast Asian region and to international peace and security. The launch today of a Taepo-dong 2 missile was a clear violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718, which expressly prohibits North Korea from conducting ballistic missile-related activities of any kind. With this provocative act, North Korea has ignored its international obligations, rejected unequivocal calls for restraint, and further isolated itself from the community of nations.
We will immediately consult with our allies in the region, including Japan and the Republic of Korea, and members of the U.N. Security Council to bring this matter before the Council. I urge North Korea to abide fully by the resolutions of the U.N. Security Council and to refrain from further provocative actions.
Preventing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery is a high priority for my administration. The United States is fully committed to maintaining security and stability in northeast Asia and we will continue working for the verifiable denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula through the Six-Party Talks. The Six-Party Talks provide the forum for achieving denuclearization, reducing tensions, and for resolving other issues of concern between North Korea, its four neighbors, and the United States. North Korea has a pathway to acceptance in the international community, but it will not find that acceptance unless it abandons its pursuit of weapons of mass destruction and abides by its international obligations and commitments.”

Dear David, When running to become your new Republican National Committee Chairman, I campaigned on a need for responsible change for our Party.
Not a change of our core values, but real change of how we go about listening to our supporters, how we communicate our message to all Americans and how we organize and win elections. While I’m excited about the challenges and opportunities we face, I have no illusions. I am fully aware of the hard work ahead and obstacles we must overcome to start winning elections again. But this isn’t about me — I can’t do this alone. It’s about you and every Republican grassroots leader who believes in our conservative principles of limited government, economic growth, personal responsibility and a strong national defense. And it’s about empowering you to lead and giving you the tools to help our Party set a new direction for our country. Successful campaigns cannot be run from a building in Washington. The strength of our Party comes from people like you who believe in our values and ideals and promote them in their communities. As one of my first official acts as Chairman, I’ve commissioned a survey of Republican activists in EVERY state. I want to hear from each of you to understand your thoughts and opinions about our Party and how we can once again be the party of ideas. That’s why I’m asking you to do two very important things for me: 1) Please take a moment right now to fill out online the State of the Republican Party Survey for the RNC. I want you to be honest and candid in your answers — there’s no need to sugar-coat your responses after our Party’s performances in the last two elections. If you choose not to participate in this crucial project, the RNC cannot create a campaign plan to educate and mobilize the millions of Republicans we need to resist the liberal agenda Barack Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Democrats are attempting to ram through Congress. Your guidance will also help us develop new strategies for winning the two Governor’s races held this year. The elections in New Jersey and Virginia offer Republicans a chance to demonstrate that we got your message and will help us seize the momentum. But we cannot lay the groundwork for winning this year and next without your participation in this survey and your active involvement in the RNC. So please complete your State of the Republican Party Survey online today and support the RNC’s efforts to grow our Party by making a secure contribution of $1,000, $500, $100, $50, or $25. David, our Party cannot do this without you. Please take this survey today. I have already seen lists of Tea Parties all over that state of Texas, but not yet for the Bryan/College Station area. So, if you want to set one up, or if you know more about this and it is already happening, post a comment below, lets get this party started!
I have found another site that is composing lists of the Tea Parties, look for more info there.
By the way, we do face some opposition, read this article on the Daily Kos, for some reason they only see these protests as anti-Obama, that is not what it is about, but, you may want to watch out for these nut jobs, they could cause trouble!
Here is another video reporting what is happening, spread the word!

Election Day 08: Is this the begining, or the end? Who will it be, Obama or McCain?
November 4, 2008 by OpinionHead
Well, election day finally got here, but will it all be over after tonight? What kind of crap do you think will happen? Will ACORN and the likes succeed in ruining what is supposed to be a basic American civil duty, the act of voting? At the time I am writing this there are already lawsuits being filed, what is going to happen? Will the Black Panthers cause any problems as some suspect? What is the future of our great country if either candidate wins? Does anybody really know?
Here is what I think, America will survive! Regardless of which side you are on and which candidate wins, America will go on! Remember the 2000 election? It took what, 36 days before it was all settled, I see this election year as being worse! Why? Because after being defeated the last two elections, the democrats are pissed off and will do “Whatever it takes” to win!
My fears are not of just losing, I am sure that everybody knows who I voted for, John McCain, and I did that early, I knew that the lines would be too long to wait, and I have been waiting to vote for John McCain since 2000! My fears are of what will happen, during this voting process that will effect future elections. As pitiful as it sounds, there are many that are voting for the wrong reasons. Voting for or against someone just because of their race is just so wrong in so many ways. Many Americans are doing this very thing, here is an example, I heard Charles Barkley say something like, “I like John McCain, but America is going to have a black President”, we all know Barkley has a loud mouth, that’s why we love to hate him! Barkley makes watching the NBA on TNT fun, during half time, he cracks me up! He is just as opinionated as I am, and here is the funny part, we agree on some things but on others we are as opposite as it can be, it is entertainment, but this election isn’t about fun, it is about America.
So, if Obama wins, so be it, that will take America someplace new, and hey, I might even get a check! I don’t see anything positive in an Obama win, except that it will put blacks and whites on an even playing field, finally! Racism is a double edged sword, but only one side ever gets criticized, maybe that will change? Yes, if Obama wins, America will change, it will move radically to the left.
If McCain wins, well, I hope the riots aren’t too bad! I almost want Obama to win so I don’t have to hear about how “The white man is keeping the black man down” anymore! Maybe somebody will realize that it is “The black man keeping the black man down”! If McCain wins, the country won’t change in the same way as if Obama does, it will remain on a more centrist course, this is the only thing McCain and Bush have in common, but, that is what America is all about, or maybe, if Obama wins, used to be about is more correct.
Well, that is all I can say, other than I am praying for our country, that no matter what happens, we don’t get further divided, that we don’t go deeper in debt, and that we stay safe from those that want to harm us. I pray that whoever wins, that they will allow America to be free from the hate that so many around the world have for us, by winning this war on terrorism, and defeating this eveil enemy. Most of all, I pray that America is not only better in four years than it is now, but in 40, and not worse due to Supreme Court changes, and the other, radical left plans, and that we are not further divided but somehow closer as a people.
Well, now it is time to sit, wait and watch, whether the election is over tonight, or in a month or two, this is either the begining, or the end.

Bye bye Fred, OK, now what?
January 22, 2008 by OpinionHead
Not all that long ago, Fred Thompson was the Republican’s big star, the buzz was everywhere that he was going to get the party going again, I guess not.
I remember back when it was just a rumor that he would run, most of the other candidates were already out working, but no, not Fred, he waited, wanted to be sure I guess, before he hit the campaign trail, then what do you know? ITS OVER! This guy was a joke! Had he been applying for a job, he never would have had a second interview, he wouldn’t have shown up!
Maybe he did it for a tax write-off? What else could he have gotten out of this? Oh, maybe a VP job? Personally, I hope not, if he can’t show up to work for his own campain, what would he add to the ticket as a VP candidate?
In my opinion, I say “I am glad he’s gone” once we get it all thinned out, to the final two, one left and one right, maybe the issues will be discussed? As of now, it is who has the most money, who believes in what religion, who is really who? Get on with it!
If I hear Billary talk about health care one more time I’ll scream! Somebody come up with a new issue to discuss! Between her and Osama Barak, or whatever his name is, there is little more than a couple of spoiled kids arguing at a playground!
Depending on where you sit, it could be a good thing that the two Dumbocrats are showing the world that they can”t even get along as Democrats, how will they do anything in office? It is kind of funny, it is usually the republicans that they toss lies about, now it is each other!
